- 25 years in financial business, including 18 years as a credit manager, supervising and teaching the collection of money.
- Past president (two terms) of the Credit Women’s Group of Ontario. Spent eight years on the group’s executive. Served two years as the Eastern Canadian liaison to the National Association of Credit Management in the U.S.A.
- Three years as an account executive for the United Way in Peel.
- Graduate of Sheridan College and have obtained many certificates for successfully completing specialty courses at Centralia College and business institutions.
- Maintain a home based business, event planning (The Events Diva).
